Universal screen grader/Cleaner KUT
Universal screen graders type KUT are designed for removal of admixtures and impurities from stream of basic material by aid of screens and air stream. They are namely used for post-harvest cleaning and pre-cleaning of grain and other crops.
A pair of sieves ensures removal of all impurities on the base of different size of single particles. Following air sifter removes light impurities which mainly chaff and dust.
Simple construction of this machine predestines this machine is used for post-harvest treatment of crops in small farms as well as for special sorting and cleaning purposes.
Universal screen grader is a machine capable to clean all sorts of cereals and seeds, like poppy, e.g. poppy seed, buckwheat, maize, beans, but also dried herbs, spices, tobacco, salt, all that according to the type of sieves used. Universal screen grader comes in several variations with 2-8 sieves in one or two lines which are used for pre-cleaning, calibrating machine or as a corn cleaner with moderated pressured aspiration.
The machine is suitable for all cases of sieving and sorting even when the crops are frequently changed. All parts coming in contact with the sorted material can be easily cleaned.

Functions:
For standard purposes, the machine is fitted with pair of sieves, which ensure separation of big and small impurities according to the mesh in the sieves. The sieves are cleaned by rubber balls.
The vibrations are created by motors. And the casing with the sieves is cushioned by springs.
Screens casing is of frame modular construction.
Light impurities are exhausted by special nozzle behind the screens. The air is blown through falling grain and the light impurities are caught by that and removed from the grain.
Pair of sieves is included into the machine delivery, the size of mesh is recommended to the customer according to the type of crop for the best result.
Fan and cyclone separator are delivered as optional accessories. Light impurities are collected in the bottom part of the separator, where they are regularly removed. Derivatives of this machine are produced to meet the special needs. They are for instance machines for cleaning grass with added air on the sieves, machines for calibrating size of peas and buckwheat, machines for cleaning small seeds like peas and caraway.

Output data stated in the Table above are valid for wheat of maximum moisture 15% and impurities up to 4%.The machine output depends on the moisture, impurities, raw material quality and machine settings. Standard 98-99% cleaness is achieved with the final product.
For cleaning grains with higher moisture as well as of higher impurities contents, the figures below are applicable:
moisture up to 18% about 70% output
moisture up to 22% about 60% output
moisture above 22% max. 50% output
For cleaning barley and oats - about 60-80% of the nominal output.
